Feature story

Some new nuclear technology developers boast walk-away safe designs that would depend on some kind of automation to run smoothly. This feature story highlights one Idaho National Laboratory intern and how she used artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts to design a program that could make certain nuclear reactor operation procedures more efficient.

Feature story

Data scientists and finding new and creative ways to use computers to help with routine tasks in a nuclear power plant. Idaho National Laboratory recently hosted an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Expo, where employees from across the lab demonstrated their new tech and explained the value they bring to the nuclear industry.

Feature story

Idaho National Laboratory hosted the first-ever Molten Salt Technologies Workshop, designed to bring together various industries with uses for molten salt and initiate a unified approach to fundamental research. The goal is to expedite molten salt technology development and deployment.

SOCIAL MEDIA

I've worked as part of a team on several social media presences.
These are just some of the highlights I'm most proud of.

Behind-the-scenes video series

While working directly with Idaho National Laboratory researchers, engineers, and scientists, discovered just how layered the nuclear science and technology directorate was. I pinpointed a need to highlight some of the work that brings the higher-profile projects to life.

This series is designed to provide well-rounded social media coverage while simplifying the science in a way a general audience can understand and relate to.

More videos are currently in progress and will be posted on INL's social media platforms.

Event recap videos

The Molten Salt Technologies Workshop at Idaho National Laboratory was attended by representatives from various industries and the Department of Energy. I facilitated interviews with just a few of these individuals about the importance of molten salt, the value of their experience at INL and their interest in repeating an event like this in the future.

This was posted on all INL social media platforms along with a link to an accompanying feature story, which can be found here.

Plug into Nuclear recruiting video

I was tasked with writing a script and storyboard for a recruiting video highlighting the influential projects in the works within Idaho National Laboratory's nuclear science and technology directorate. While this has been used in other capacities, it has been reposted on INL's social media several times.
